Use our password management tool XIA Configuration to store and share passwords securely in an encrypted form. Access control can be used to determine which users can view the passwords stored in XIA Configuration.
When a user views a password through the user interface, the access is logged to the XIA Configuration audit log.
System Administrators have the ability to export the passwords to a PDF document.
To open the sample document below, please use the password Passw0rd.
The following video demonstrates passwords lists in XIA Configuration:
Users must click the "Reveal Password" button to view each password limiting the exposure of passwords that is common with a standard password list.
Access to a decrypted password is clearly shown in the XIA Configuration audit trial. This includes the password list that was viewed and the specific password that was decrypted.
Passwords can be entered manually using the web interface or imported from a standard CSV file.
XIA Configuration natively works with Active Directory and local computer user accounts which allows you to easily control which users can view and edit encrypted passwords within a single or multiple password lists.
For more information about password management, please view the administrator's guide.
