Hyper-V Inventory and Reporting Tool

Start documenting your Hyper-V environments automatically

Use the Hyper-V inventory tool XIA Configuration to automatically inventory and run reports on your Hyper-V hosts and virtual machines, generate technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and find systems that need to be upgraded.

Document the Hyper-V server role & bare-metal hypervisors, generation 1 and 2 virtual machines, host configuration (including live migration), replication settings and virtual networking.

Hyper-V is a native hypervisor that enables platform virtualization on x86-64 systems. It can be installed as a server role in Windows Server 2008 and above and is also available as a standalone bare metal hypervisor.

All of XIA Configuration's features are supported when documenting Hyper-V, including version control, PDF output, reporting, change tracking & item comparison, XML output and more. The application has a non-intrusive architecture with agentless data collection.

Hyper-V Inventory

Automatically detect and scan Hyper-V server installations on Windows machines which, in turn, are automatically detected when scanning Active Directory. Virtual machines connected to the domain will also be detected, scanned and added to the inventory.

Hyper-V servers can also be scanned manually by specifying a list of machine names or IP addresses.
