Overview The SQL Server Security Compliance Benchmark automatically evaluates SQL Server platform and security settings against established best practices for both on‑premises SQL Server installations and Azure SQL Managed Instances. It includes more than 80 checks across platform configuration, surface area reduction, authentication, encryption, and auditing, and leverages the core capabilities of the XIA Configuration compliance benchmarking platform. The new functionality will also be available in the v18.1 release of XIA Configuration Server and XIA Configuration Express.
