How to check installed software in Windows

Check the Installed Programs in Windows on all your servers and workstations with our software XIA Configuration.

Audit the following information:

• Name
• Publisher
• Platform
• Version
• Installation Date

Check Installed Programs in Windows

1. Create a Windows Machine Scan Task

Create a Windows Machine scan task in the XIA Configuration Client. In agent settings, ensure Installed Programs is set to Scan.

2. Scan your Windows Machines

In the XIA Configuration Client, either start a scan manually or schedule a scan.

3. Check your Installed Programs

In the XIA Configuration Server, open the Windows Machine item. Navigate to Software > Installed Software.

4. Run the Software Installation Report

Run the software installation report to check all the Installed Programs across all the Windows machines in your environments at once.

Export the report to CSV

Export the report to CSV and open it in Microsoft Excel for further analysis.
